There is a spiritual drought of God's Word not being taught enough in many churches these days. It's one thing to simply give a half-hour speech with an occasional scripture thrown in now and then for good measure.
It's an entirely different thing to dig deep into the Scriptures, teach within the proper Biblical context, and make the focus of the sermon about what the Bible actually says, verse by verse. This is known as "expository preaching." We need expositors of God's Word who are more committed to explaining what His Word says and ultimately getting God's point across instead of their speech.
